[01] CYPRUS EXHIBITION LISBON
An exhibition titled ``Historia Perdida`` (History Lost) opened
recently at the National Archaeological Museum of Lisbon, starting from
Cyprus and aiming primarily at cultivating awareness internationally
about the illegal trafficking of antiquities and its consequences on
historical knowledge.
In the luxurious catalogue that accompanied the exhibition, an
extensive reference is made to Cyprus and the mosaics of Kanakaria.
The exhibition, which was produced by ``Anemon Productions`` and
promoted abroad by the Hellenic Cultural Institution, is organised by
the Press Office of the Greek Embassy in Lisbon in cooperation with the
National Archaeological Museum of Lisbon.
