Cyprus will not recognise Kosovo and this is a position of principle in that such a move would constitute a violation of international law, Cyprus FM Erato Kozakou Markoullis has stressed.

Referring to the Cyprus question, the Finnish Foreign Minister said that his country encourages both sides to move towards finding a Cyprus settlement, adding that Finland was always actively present in Cyprus, with its participation with over ten thousand soldiers in UNFICYP and through another peace-keeping role.
