    President of the Republic of Malta Edward Fenech Adami will be in Cyprus on a state visit from June 10 to 12, during which he will hold official talks with his Cypriot counterpart Tassos Papadopoulos.

    On June 11, following the official welcoming ceremony at the Presidential Palace, the two Presidents will hold a private meeting and official talks with the participation of their delegations, and will make statements to the press. Adami will also meet with House of Representatives President Demetris Christofias and Archbishop of the Church of Cyprus Chrysostomos II, who will accompany him on a visit to the Cathedral of St. John and the Makarios III Foundation.

    Furthermore, he will visit the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Municipality of Nicosia, the old city of Nicosia and the ceasefire line, accompanied by Nicosia Mayor Eleni Mavrou, who will present him with the Medal of the City of Nicosia. Adami will attend a state banquet hosted in his honour by President Papadopoulos.
