Former Cypriot President Glafcos Clerides wife, Irene Clerides, passed
away this morning.
Irene Clerides died at the age of 86.
Director of the Larnaca Hospital First Aid Department, Androulla
Christodoulides, told CNA that Irene Clerides was transferred this
morning at the Hospitals Emergency Department.
She was already clinically dead when she was brought here. Despite
extensive efforts she failed to recover, she said.
