[01] PAPADOPOULOS - WESTONS` DEATH
Cyprus President Tassos Papadopoulos has expressed his deepest sorrow
for the death of former US State Department Special Coordinator for
Cyprus, Ambassador Thomas Weston, who died of cancer at the age of 62.
In a statement President Papadopoulos says Weston had worked
conscientiously and tirelessly for finding a solution to the
long-standing Cyprus problem and regardless of their different views
they maintained excellent cooperation.
