  • [01] AJET - DISCONTINUATION OF FLYING PROGRAMME

Ajet, former Helios Airways, has announced here Monday that it will be discontinuing its flying programme within the next three months.

A press release issued by the company said arrangements have been made so that all scheduled flights will be performed as normal and passengers booked on Ajet flights will not be affected.

After this development Cyprus Minister of Communications and Works Haris Thrasou said that Ajet could not avoid any civil or criminal responsibilities that may be imputed to Helios Airways for the air tragedy of August 2005.
