Pashiardis said there were difficulties in putting the case together and presenting it before the court but noted that it was not impossible.

``The truth is that it is a very complicated case with many parties involved and several dimensions. Everyone understands the complexity and the difficulties of this case and I am sure that everyone agrees that suspicions, impressions and personal views cannot in any way support the enouncement of accusations, the exercising of indictments and the adduction of anyone before justice,`` he pointed out.

He added that ``without proof, without a full and thorough investigation of the whole case, without the determination of specific persons responsible, it is not possible to exercise indictments.``

Pashiardis said ``the difficulties and complexities of this case do not mean that there are no guilty parties or that it is impossible to be detected.``

The Spokesman also said that the findings of the Greek Air Accident Investigation and Aviation Safety Board under Akrivos Tsolakis and the Cypriot Commission of Inquiry headed by former Supreme Court judge Panayiotis Kallis will be used by the Police to determine the sectors where there are responsibilities in order to investigate specific charges against specific suspects, and that ``the court will have the final word.``

Asked about the company, which questioned the validity of the Cypriot Commission, Pashiardis said it was appointed according to the provisions of the law and noted that ``just because the company questioned it does not mean that it stands to reason.``

The Boeing 737 was on its way to Prague, via Athens, when it crashed into the mountain side north of the Greek capital killing 121 passengers and crew on board, most of them Cypriots going on holiday. The Boeing came down as two Greek F-16 jets were accompanying it after it failed to respond to calls from Athens` control tower.

She said November 7 is a critical date, when the European Commission will present Turkey`s progress report, adding that efforts should be intensified.

Asked during a press conference in Athens at the end of the informal meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs from Mediterranean countries, EU members, whether Greece and Cyprus will veto Turkeys European course if it does not implement its EU preconditions, Bakoyiannis replied that consciously she will not use the word veto.
