Speaking on behalf of the media delegation, Kannaouros said they informed Themistocleous about ``the existing unacceptable situation, the arrests and persecutions of journalists in violation of international principles, the ecumenical declaration of human rights of the UN, and the principles of the EU, of which Turkey is a candidate country.`` [02] HELIOS AIR CRASH - COMMISSION OF INQUIRYWitnesses continued to testify on Tuesday before the Commission of Inquiry into the causes of the ``Helios`` air crash near Athens on 14 August 2005 that killed all 121 people on board.Airhostess Louiza Polemitou said the plane that crashed had technical problems and that during the flights there was either a drop or an increase in the cabin temperature, a problem not fixed despite continuous reports of the phenomenon. Testifying before the Commission, Chief Stewardess Alexia Gerolemou mentioned problems concerning inadequate technical inspections and lack of training and organisation in the company.
