Greek Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyiannis arrived Tuesday in Cyprus for a
short visit before embarking tomorrow on a Middle East tour, in the
light of the assumption on behalf of Greece of the presidency of the UN
Security Council on September 1.
Tonight, Bakoyiannis meets with Cypriot President Tassos Papadopoulos
during a working dinner at Papadopoulos` residence.
In statements upon her arrival to Larnaca airport, Bakoyiannis said
that her meeting with President Papadopoulos will cover the situation
in the Middle East as well as issues that concern Cyprus and Greece, in
view of the EU progress report for Turkey to be issued in October.
