[01] ISRAELI AMBASSADOR - MIDDLE EAST CRISIS
Israels Ambassador to Cyprus Zvi Cohen-Litant said here Thursday that
now is the time for diplomatic efforts to end the Middle East crisis.
Speaking after a meeting with Justice and Public Order Minister
Sofoclis Sofocleous, Cohen-Litant said however that Israel has to
protect itself from Hizbollah bombing.
[02] CYPRUS AIRWAYS - FLIGHTS TO UK
Cyprus Airways does not intend to cancel flights to the United Kingdom,
for the time being, unless the situation makes it extremely difficult
to continue flying, CY General Director Christos Kyriakides told CNA.
Kyriakides said there are three scheduled flights today for London, one
of them via Brussels and the other two for London-Heathrow.
He noted that they will wait to see if they are allowed to fly from
Brussels to London
