The investigations are connected to irregular dealings an investment company, Suphire, is said to have carried out while it managed the EAC pension fund, amounting to 9.2 million pounds, which went missing. [10] Cyprus Foreign Minister to visit Jordan1805:CYPPRESS:11Cyprus Foreign Minister to visit Jordan Nicosia, Mar 28 (CNA) -- Cyprus Foreign Minister George Iacovou flies to Jordan on Tuesday for a two-day visit during which he will discuss, among other issues, bilateral ties following Cyprus' accession to the European Union. The visit takes place at the invitation of Jordanian Foreign Minister Hani al-Mulki in the framework of visits by Cypriot government officials to the region after the Republic joined the EU in May last year. Iacovou will also discuss relations between Amman and Brussels as well as regional issues, primarily the Middle East question.
