Nicosia, Mar 5 (CNA) - The Cypriot Police is generally effective in its law enforcement efforts regarding drugs, the annual US State Department report on drug trafficking for 2004 says, noting that the Police's techniques and capacity remain restricted by a shortage of financial resources and that drug abuse remains relatively rare in Cyprus.
