Nicosia, Dec 6 (CNA) -- Cypriot Minister of Foreign Affairs George
Iacovou has said it is certainly the aim of the Republic of Cyprus to
seek the normalisation of relations with the Republic of Turkey,
constructively utilising the opportunities presented by December 17th.

Christofias reaffirms solidarity with Palestinian people
Nicosia, Dec 6 (CNA) - General Secretary of leftwing AKEL and President
of the House of Representatives Demetris Christofias stressed today
that his party would continue to contribute to strengthening the
struggle for the establishment of a Palestinian state and for the
respect of ethnic and human rights of the people of Palestine.
