    Dutch Premier to visit Cyprus next week

    Nicosia, Dec 3 (CNA) -- Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende, whose country holds the six-monthly rotating European Union presidency, will be in Athens and Nicosia on Tuesday, December 7.

    The visit takes place barely two weeks before the EU December summit, 16-17 December, which will decide whether accession negotiations with Turkey will begin.
