Winds will be northeasterly to southeasterly light to moderate. State of sea slight but over east and north cost up to moderate. Maximum temperature: Around 28C inland and over south coastal areas 30C and 26C west coastal areas. Minimum temperature: 15C inland and around 17C over coastal areas. [02] AFP Seminar for Med journalists to be held in Cyprus1335:CYPPRESS:02AFP Seminar for Med journalists to be held in Cyprus Nicosia, Oct 25 (CNA) -- Journalists and IT specialists from 14 national news agencies of the Mediterranean region will participate in a training seminar on ''News Agencies Multimedia Services over the Internet'' to be held in Nicosia on November 11-12. The seminar is organised and funded by Agence France - Presse for the Alliance of Mediterranean News Agencies (AMAN), as part of the Alliance's training programme for 2003-2006. The 20 members of AMAN have introduced or are in the process of introducing multimedia news services for their subscribers and look forward to taking advantage of the information and experiences to be offered by the seminar. [05] Greek opposition calls for unity ahead of EU Council meeting on Turkey1720:CYPPRESS:05Greek opposition calls for unity ahead of EU Council meeting on Turkey Nicosia, Oct 25 (CNA) The Greek Parliaments Coordinator for External Affairs and Defence Issues, opposition PASOK member of Parliament Anna Diamantopoulou, said today that any solution to the Cyprus problem should correspond with the need for security and welfare of the Republic of Cyprus. Speaking after meeting Cyprus House President Demetris Christofias, Diamantopoulou said that PASOK is at the disposal of the politicians of Cyprus to work with them to achieve the final goal, that of a Cyprus settlement. Referring to the 17 December 2004 date concerning Turkeys accession course, Diamantopoulou said it is the first important procedure in which the Republic of Cyprus has a very clear role as an EU member state, adding that whatever the position is, it requires setting out priorities, prudence and determination. [06] CMP and INFORCE to conclude agreement on exhumations1730:CYPPRESS:06CMP and INFORCE to conclude agreement on exhumations Nicosia, Oct 25 (CNA) The Committee on Missing Persons (CMP) in Cyprus has reached an agreement in pricinple with the non profit forensic science organisation INFORCE which will undertake exhumation work in Cyprus, a CMP press release reads. The press release said CMP is preparing relevant information for submission to the INFORCE forensic science organisation based in the UK, to assist them in the detailed planning of the exhumation work to be undertaken.
