Weather forecast for Cyprus

Nicosia, Oct 4 (CNA) -- The Meteorological Office at Larnaca International Airport has issued the following weather forecast for Cyprus:

Tuesday and Wednesday 5/10/2004 to 6/10/2004 ------------------------------------------- On Tuesday, the weather will be mainly fine in the morning, locally partly cloudy in the afternoon with risk of isolated showers over the mountains. The wind will be variable 2-3BF during night and morning and southeast to southwest, gentle to moderate, (3-4)BF in the afternoon. State of sea smooth to slight. The temperature will range between (18-30)C inland, (19-29)C south and coast, (18-27)C west coast and (23-12)C over Prodromos area.

Outlook for Thursday and Friday: 07/10/2004 to 08/10/2004 ----------------------------------------------------- Unstable weather conditions with local showers and isolated thunderstorms.

No significant change is expected in temperature.
