Cyprus Olympic Committee President leaves for Athens
Larnaca, Aug 7 (CNA) --- Cyprus Olympic Committee President Kikis
Lazarides said today that he felt optimistic about the performance of
the Cyprus Olympic Team during the Olympic Games in Athens.
''We go to the Athens Olympics with optimism. In some athletic events
we hope to have good distinctions'', he said, adding that the biggest
hope is for the shooting and sailing sports.
