The last draft resolution that was presented by the British with the Americans consent, did not contain a date for the expiration of the forces mandate, nor a date indicating the submission of the UN Secretary-Generals report. It is ascertained that the language of the draft resolution has sufficiently been watered down» in relation to the previous resolution 1517 of last November, both in connection with the previous resolutions as well the reference to Strovilia (where Turkish troops advanced thus violating the status quo), a diplomatic source said.
