Burgenstock, Mar 31 (CNA) -- UN Secretary General Kofi Annan invited this evening the Greek and the Turkish Prime Ministers, Costas Karamanlis and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to a meeting, an hour before he is due to hand to the sides involved in the Cyprus talks the final version of his plan on a comprehensive settlement.

London, Mar 31 (CNA) -- British Minister for Europe Dennis MacShane has urged the sides in Cyprus to say ''yes'' to a settlement at a referendum so as ''to allow a united island to enter the EU and start a new and peaceful era in its history''.
