    International Coordinating Committee Justice for Cyprus convenes

    Nicosia, Aug 27 (CNA) -- The International Coordinating Committee Justice for Cyprus (PSEKA), a US-based organisation of overseas Cypriots, convenes today in Nicosia, in the context of the 13th World Congress of Overseas Cypriots which concludes its working sessions Thursday with the adoption of resolutions on Cyprus and other matters.

    Cyprus to participate in European regional Forum

    Nicosia, Aug 27 (CNA) -- The President of the Republic of Cyprus will be represented at a regional Forum on Dialogue Among Civilisations by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Culture Petros Kareklas.

    The European regional Forum takes place on August 29 - 30 in Ohrid of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and is organized by FYROM President Boris Trajkovski with UNESCO.

    Cyprus Airways reports losses for first half of 2003

    Nicosia, Aug 27 (CNA) - National carrier Cyprus Airways reported an after tax loss of 17,607 million Cyprus pounds for the first six months of 2003, compared to 3,376 million last year, due to a decrease in tourist traffic to the Mediterranean island caused by the war in Iraq and the economic recession affecting European markets.
