[05] Weather forecast for Cyprus1435:CYPPRESS:05Weather forecast for Cyprus Nicosia, Dec 9 (CNA) - The Meteorological Office at Larnaca International Airport has issued the following weather forecast for Cyprus: The weather on Tuesday (Dec 10) will be locally cloudy with showers, probably thundery and light snow over the highest peaks of the Troodos range. Winds will prevail west to northwest moderate 4 bf and the sea will persist moderate to rough. The maximum temperature will range from 7 degrees Celsius over the mountains to 19 degrees along the coastal areas. The minimum temperature will range from zero degrees over the mountains to 9 along the coastal areas. The weather on Wednesday (Dec 11) will be mainly fine but a light shower and light snow over Troodos cannot be excluded. The wind will prevail northwest moderate 4 bf and the state of sea will be moderate. The maximum temperature will range form 5 degrees over the highest peaks of Troodos to 17 along the coastal areas. Local ground frost may be noted on Wednesday to Thursday night. On Thursday (Dec 12) and Friday (Dec 13), the weather will be mainly fine but cold. The temperature will note a further fall on Thursday, and on Thursday to Friday local night ground frost is expected. A temperature rise is expected on Friday.
