He said there have been no concerns raised about staying in Tel Aviv, following the escalation of violence in Israel, but pointed out if any worries are expressed, the matter will be taken up by the company. In a letter to the General Assembly, the Republic's Charge d'Affaires at UN permanent mission George Kasoulides said the government of Cyprus holds "the government of Turkey and its subordinate administration in the occupied areas responsible for all illegal excavations, which violate international conventions and recommendations on the issue."
