[01] Russian Duma Chairman - Cyprus parliamentary delegation
Nicosia, Mar 13 (CNA) - Russian Duma Chairman Gennadii Seleznev has
expressed firm support to efforts aimed at reaching a just settlement in
Cyprus based on UN resolutions, during a meeting in Moscow today with a
high-level Cypriot parliamentary delegation headed by House of
Representatives President Spyros Kyprianou.
According to sources in the Russian capital, during the meeting Seleznev
praised the Cyprus House and its President for their steady support to
bilateral relations and discussed with the Cypriot deputies how to further
strengthen relations in all fields. He also asked to be briefed on Cyprus'
European Union accession course.
