Announcing the official start of the party's electoral campaign, he called
on everybody to back DISI in the forthcoming elections to help shape the
things to come and added "we carry the banner of the force of renewal and

[03] Cyprus - Greece - Foreign Ministers - Press conference
Nicosia, Mar 11 (CNA) -- The European Union appreciates the efforts the
government of Cyprus is making in the context of the UN-led peace talks,
assesses them in a positive manner and rewards them, Greek Foreign Minister
George Papandreou said here today, adding that the EU is examining the two
available options as far as Cyprus' accession is concerned, either to
accept Cyprus in its ranks with or without a solution.
Speaking at a press conference after talks with his Cypriot counterpart
Ioannis Kasoulides, Papandreou called on the Turkish Cypriot to join the
Cypriot negotiating team and raise the many issues of concern that interest
them, saying they will be "listened to very carefully."
