CNA/RG/2001 1515:CYPPRESS:02[02] Telecommunications Authority - BillNicosia, Mar 7 (CNA) - The cabinet will table this week legislation to change the semi-government Cyprus Telecommunications Authority (CYTA), which now operates as a public utility organisation, into a state-owned company, Minister of Communications and Works Averof Neophytou announced here today, after this morning's cabinet meeting.He stressed CYTA is not to be privatised, adding that the Authority's employees will be invited to buy as much as six per cent of the shares in the company and will have all their rights safeguarded.
