    [01] British Minister - Cyprus

    Nicosia, Feb 13 (CNA) -- Britain's Minister of Foreign Affairs, responsible for Europe, Keith Vaz, will pay a one-day visit to Cyprus on March 14, 2001.

    In view of this visit, Cyprus Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides had a meeting yesterday in Nicosia with British High Commissioner to Cyprus Edward Clay.

    [02] Cyprus President - Athens - Museum

    Nicosia, Feb 13 (CNA) - The Presidents of Cyprus and Greece, Glafcos Clerides and Costis Stephanopoulos, inauguarted yesterday in Athens the Museum of Ancient Cypriot Art and History at the Pierides Museum.

    In his speech, President Clerides noted the poor number of Cypriot artifacts exhibited in Greek museums and said he would be happier if "Cyprus' Greek culture was present in the National Archaeological Museum" in Athens, among other exhibits of Greek culture. CNA/RG/GP/2001

    [03] Iranian parliamentary delegation - Cyprus

    Nicosia, Feb 13 (CNA) - A five-member delegation from the Iranian parliament arrives in Cyprus tomorrow for a three-day official visit, at the invitation of the Cyprus House of Representatives.

    During their stay, the Iranian parliamentarians will be received by President Glafcos Clerides, and will have meetings with Deputy House President Nicos Anastasiades, Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides, Commerce, Industry and Tourism Minister Nicos Rolandis, and Attorney-General Alecos Markides.
