[01] Australian High Commissioner - Interview
by Maria Myles Nicosia, Nov 20 (CNA) – Australia fully backs the current UN
peace effort to find a viable settlement of the protracted Cyprus question,
and describes it as a "very important opportunity" the parties involved
should take advantage of.
Pointing out that a solution is long overdue, Australian High Commissioner
Frank Ingruber told
CNA in an interview that the Cyprus dispute is a "high priority" for
Canberra and expressed satisfaction with bilateral cooperation in many
fields and various international fora.
