    [01] Cypriot Ministers - Visits abroad

    Nicosia, Oct 7 (CNA) -- Commerce, Industry and Tourism Minister Nicos Rolandis leaves today for Geneva where he will meet Monday with General Director of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) Mike Moore to discuss issues such as Cyprus' course in implementing trade agreements with the Organisation, technical assistance and the possibility of WTO regional seminars being held on the island.

    On October 10 Rolandis will be going to Hanover, Germany, to represent the government at the official ceremony for the Cyprus Day at the World Exhibition 2000 (EXPO 2000) and meetings with the exhibition authorities.

    [02] Bicommunal meetings - Pupils - Pyla

    Nicosia, Oct 7 (CNA) -- Greek-Cypriot and Turkish-Cypriot pupils are meeting today in Pyla, one of the few remaining mixed villages, south of Larnaca, to share experiences and talk about their common roots.

    Overall 60 pupils with origins from the western coastal town of Paphos, aged 16 - 18, are taking part in the two day workshop "Youth encounters for peace". CNA/RM/MA/2000

    [03] Cyprus - Bilateral Agreements

    Nicosia, Oct 7 (CNA) -- Cyprus will sign bilateral agreements on Public Health and Medical Science with Egypt and Armenia it was announced here today.

    The decision was taken during yesterday's Cabinet meeting, according to an official press release. CNA/RM/MA/2000
