[01] Illegal immigrants - Lebanon
Nicosia, Oct 4 (CNA) -- Some 275 illegal immigrants that were on a ship at
Limassol port since September 14 were on their way back to Lebanon, police
sources told CNA today.
The boat people were returning after many days of consultations between
Cyprus and Lebanon regarding the port from which they had left, so that
they could be sent back as provided for in an agreement signed between the
two countries in January 1999.
