1445:CYPPRESS:01[01]Lebanese delegation - Visit - Illegal immigrantsNicosia, Sep 18 (CNA) -- A two-member delegation of the Lebanese Ministry of Emigrant Affairs is arriving in Nicosia tomorrow in relation to the issue that came up after differences between the two countries as to whether or not 266 illegal immigrants rescued after their boat sank off Cyprus' western coast last week came from Lebanon. Speaking to CNA Cyprus Interior Minister Christodoulos Christodoulou said the two high-ranking officials will be having talks on the issue with the relevant local authorities. According to the 1999 annual report "Tourism Migration and Travel Statistics" released today, total arrivals of travelers (including excursionists) reached 3.142.293 recording an increase of 9,4 percent, while departures totalled 3.145.956, repersenting an increase of 9,6 percent compared to 1998.
