Nicosia, Jan 22 (CNA) -- Greek-American and Turkish-American leaders
express strong support on recent efforts by Greece and Turkey to take steps
forward to improve bilateral relations.
In a joint statement Greek-American and Turkish-American leaders
express satisfaction that during Greek Foreign Minister George Papandreou's
visit to Turkey "Turkish Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit invited his Greek
counterpart, Prime Minister Costas Simitis, to visit Turkey".

[02] Greek Foreign Minister - Constantinople

Constantinople, Jan 22 (CNA) -- The Foreign Ministers of Greece and
Turkey, George Papandreou and Ismail Cem respectively, will have a working
lunch today in Constantinople (Istanbul) with a small group of Greek and
Turkish businesspeople, in an effort to promote their cooperation.
The two Ministers will discuss with the businesspeople the setting up
of a larger meeting, to be held in a couple of months.
