    [05] Sweden - Cyprus - Turkey - EU

Nicosia, Jan 21 (CNA) -- A solution to the "political dispute" in Cyprus would ease the course of the island's accession to the European Union (EU), Sweden's Foreign Minister Anna Lindh has said.

The Swedish positions were conveyed in reply to a question by a leftist MP Sten Lundstrom who asked what Sweden intends to do to contribute to a solution to the Cyprus problem.
