[01] President Clerides - Greek Prime Minister
Athens, Sep 14 (CNA) -- The prospect for intercommonunal dialogue, Cyprus'
accession course to the European Union and cooperation in defence matters
between Cyprus and Greece were the focus of discussions here today between
Cyprus President Galfcos Clerides and Greek Premier Costas Simitis.
Speaking after the talks, Cyprus President Glafcos Clerides said they
reached unanimous conclusions on how to handle issues pertaining the
proposed intercommunal dialogue and Simitis pointed out that Turkey should
comply with UN decisions if it wants to be part of the European family.

[02] Bank of Cyprus - Interim results
Nicosia, Sep 14 (CNA) -- The Bank of Cyprus (BoC) Group today announced
profits after tax of 22,5 million Cyprus pounds for the first six months of
1999 (one Cyprus pound is trading at 1,85 US dollars).
Speaking at a press conference, Group Chairman Solon Triantafyllides
said the Group's aim is to achieve BoC's listing on the Athens Stock
Exchange early next year.

[03] Cyprus Airways - Northwest Airlines
Nicosia, Sep 14 (CNA) -- Cyprus Airways signed today an agreement with the
world's fourth largest airline, Northwest, providing for the use of the
latter's code to services run by Cyprus Airways.
The agreement, valid for a minimum of eight years, will also allow for
the addition of the CY code to the NW operated services.
