[01] US Congressional Staffers - Visit
Nicosia, Jan 8 (CNA) -- An eight member delegation of staff members of US
congressmen will be visiting the island from Sunday to Wednesday for
meetings with political leaders and local officials.
The delegation will meet Foreign Minister, Ioannis Kasoulides,
President of the House of Representatives, Spyros Kyprianou and Chief
Negotiator and Co-ordinator of the Harmonisation Process for Cyprus'
accession to the European Union, George Vassiliou.
They will also have meetings with party leaders and representatives as
well as the Mayors of the Turkish occupied town of Famagusta and Nicosia
suburb Ayios Dometios, Andreas Pouyouros and Andreas Hadjiloizou
respectively.
