    [01] Cypriot Minister - Egypt

Nicosia, Oct 23 (CNA) -- Cyprus Justice and Public Order, Minister Nicos Koshis, leaves this afternoon for Egypt, at the invitation of his Egyptian counterpart, Farouk Seif El Nasr.

During his official visit, Koshis will have talks on a bilateral agreement for the extradition of fugitives and especially the exchange of ratification documents.

The agreement, which was signed in March 1996 to further strengthen the cooperation of both countries in legal matters, complements another agreement signed in July 1992, which covers the transport of convicts.

Koshis, who returns to Cyprus on Monday, will also meet with Egypt's Interior Minister, the Attorney General and the President of the Supreme Constitutional Court.
