CNA MCH/1998ENDS, CYPRUS NEWS AGENCY1910:CYPPRESS:02[02] Enclaved to vote on Sunday's electionsNicosia, Feb 06 (CNA) -- More than 450 Greek Cypriot and Maronite enclaved, living in the Turkish occupied areas, will vote on Sunday's presidential elections.Red Cross buses will collect them at Ledra Palace check point in Nicosia and take them to the polling stations in the government controlled areas. The enclaved voters live in the occupied Karpass peninsula, Kyrenia and Maronite villages, Kormakitis, Asomatos and Karpassia. CNA KN/MCH/1998ENDS, CYPRUS NEWS AGENCY1925:CYPPRESS:03[03] Election campaign ends midnightNicosia, Feb 06 (CNA) -- The presidential election campaign officially closes at midnight on Friday, Attorney General Alecos Markides stated here today.A meeting to discuss Sunday's elections was held today in Markide's office with representatives of the seven presidential candidates, police representatives and the Chief Returning Officer. Speaking after the meeting Markides noted that canvassing will be banned until polls close. He added that any statements the candidates make after casting their vote should be "within reasonable limits". Markides expressed the hope that there will be no problems during elections and everything will run smoothly.
