[01] Canadian envoy starts familirisation visit
Nicosia, May 12 (CNA) -- Canadian Special Representative for Cyprus Michael
Bell starts talks here today, as part of a three-nation familirisation trip
that will also take him to Greece and Turkey.
Bell, who was appointed to this post last April, is meeting today with
Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides.
Tomorrow, he will be received by President Glafcos Clerides and have a
meeting with House of Representatives President, Spyros Kyprianou.
The Canadian envoy will stay in Cyprus until Thursday and will then fly
on to Athens and Ankara for talks with the Greek and Turkish governments.
