[01] SAINOVIC, GANIC END TALKS

During the talks at the end of the Bosnian Federation delegation's two-day Belgrade visit, the readiness was jointly reaffirmed for a gradual normalization of mutual relations, for the further headway in the implementation of the peace agreement and for the resolution of concrete outstanding questions, the Yugoslav Information Secretariat said in an announcement.

It was noted that the program of renewal and reconstruction of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), along with the equal treatment of the two Bosnian entities - the Republika Srpska (R.S.) and the Muslim-Croat Federation - constituted one of the key conditions for recovery and inclusion of this space into the broader-based integration processes.

Even economic development throughout the BiH is an important prerequisite for the further successful implementation of the peace agreement, for confidence build-up and for lasting stability. To this end, accord was achieved in principle on the re-opening of road, rail and air transport, about which the two sides' authorized representatives signed the relevant minutes. Also agreed was to carry on with the work to establish or improve the telecommunications and postal traffic. Accord was reached to open the two sides' chamber of commerce representations in Belgrade and Sarajevo. The talks dealt also with the transportation of natural gas and the cooperation in the iron and steel and chemical industries, and in banking, where as experts would in their future contacts work out the concrete modalities of cooperation.

Agreed in principle was that contacts should resume in the first place through meetings of representatives of the relevant ministries and immediate protagonists of cooperation.

It was appraised that such contacts and dialogues, the renewing of cooperation in the field of transport and economic relations in general, just as the facilitated movement of citizens, were contributing to the creation of a favourable atmosphere for the comprehensive and consistent implementation of the Dayton-Paris agreement, said the announcement.

[02] MILOSEVIC MEETS WITH HURD

Milosevic and Hurd discussed the promotion of economic relations between Yugoslav firms and world's major companies and other issues of mutual interest, it was said in a statement.

Yugoslav Foreign Minister Milan Milutinovic also participated in the talks.

[03] REFUGEES FROM BOSNIA IN YUGOSLAVIA INVITED TO GO TO POLLS

The Association said in a declaration that elections in BiH were an opportunity for the refugees, for the first time after the war, to freely exercise their right to vote, which is at the same time their duty and right.

The Association appealed on international institutions to be helpful to all refugees in the F.R.Y. to vote, to exercise the principles of equality embodied in the Dayton Agreement.

In the F.R.Y., there are 215,000 refugees from BiH with the right to vote.

[04] YUGOSLAVIA, LONDON CLUB OPEN NEW ROUND OF TALKS

The Yugoslav delegation to the talks is headed by Minister Vuk Ognjenovic.

The talks are on the Financial Times's list of major world events for the week, which clearly illustrates that they are not significant just for Yugoslavia and the world financial market but also for the stabilization of the situation in the Balkans.

The Yugoslav delegation is also engaged in talks with Natwest Markets, one of the chief consultants for Yugoslavia's return to the world financial market and the normalization of its relations with international financial institutions.

Natwest Markets is part of the biggest British bank, Natwestbank.

[05] NEGOTIATIONS WITH LONDON CLUB TAKE INTO ACCOUNT INTERESTS OF ALL PARTIES

The agenda of the London negotiations includes all relevant issues of relations between the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the London Club and world financial markets.

The negotiations are expected to lead to an agreement on the bases for resolving the debt problem of the former Yugoslavia and are also focusing on Yugoslavia's full reintegration in the world capital market and on the normalization of its relations with international financial organizations.
