LONDON - The president of Republika Srpska /RS/ Biljana Plavsic started the more days official visit to the Great Britain in the course of which she will meet the representatives of authorities, parliamentary parties and businessmen. As stated for SRNA from the Foreign Office according to the protocol of the visit of president Plavsic should meet with the undersecretary of parliament of Great Britain for international development George Faulks and at 9,30 with the minister for armed services John Eart. The president Plavsic arrived late last night to London, after more hours delay because of the unscheduled stay on the international airport in Vienna.

AMSTERDAM - The spokesman of the Hague Tribunal Christian Schartier stated for SRNA that in the Tribunal do not exist any indictment against the president of RS Biljana Plavsic. He confirmed to the SRNA correspondent from Amsterdam that Tribunal was contacted last night the representatives of Interpol and demanded the information was the indictment raised against president of RS, stressing that the answer was negative.

DJAKOVICA - The Albanian terrorists attacked last night the house of the journalist Dragutin Prentic in Djakovica, but, as reports the SRNA correspondent, nobody of family members was injured while on the building was made significant material damage. The Albanian terrorists used in the attack the automatic weapons and bazooka.

BRUSSELS - The premier of Republika Srpska /RS/ Milorad Dodik, while addressing the participants at Donors Conference about B&H in Brussels, expressed the contentment with the equal status of RS Government on that gathering. Stressing that RS Government has taken the responsibility for renewal the economy and better standard of its citizens, Dodik thanked in the name of the people of Srpska to international community on all efforts that he made in the development of the peace process. "We accept the joint organs of B&H and their decisions will oblige us in accordance with the Peace Agreement" - said the premier of RS and reminded the participants of the Conference that commenced processes in Srpska and Federation B&H /FB&H/ in closer connection with the economic reforms.

BRUSSELS - The co-presiding of the Council of Ministers Boro Bosic appealed in Brussels on the participants of the Donors' Conference and international community to help renewal and development of B&H, RS and FB&H, warning particularly on the high level of unemployment and social insecurity. He stressed that the reconstruction and economic recovery of B&H should be accelerated and expressed the contentment because of reaching the agreement with IMF, which secures the stable macro-economic framework for B&H. "To the Council of Ministers approaching the period of implementation of the Stand-by arrangement and sincerely we hope that this period will have undisturbed course" - said Bosic.

BRUSSELS - The special American envoy for Balkans Robert Gelbard called upon the participants of the Donors' Conference in Brussels to assist those who respect the implementation of the Dayton Agreement, stressing the reforms of the market economy, privatisation and democratic processes which conducts the Government of RS. Gelbard highlighted that the return of refugees and displaced persons is the priority problem and that American Government will do everything to help those who respect Annex 7 of the Dayton Agreement. The special U.S. envoy warned that impending elections will not be fair if without free information and independent media.

BANJA LUKA - On the Day of the Army of RS /VRS/ - May 12 - the head of the General Staff of VRS colonel general Momir Talic and minister of defence Manojlo Milovanovic will place the flowers on the Monument of fallen veterans on the cemetery "St. Pantelija" in BAnja Luka, and the day before he will receive the delegation of the families of fallen veterans. The deputy head of the General Staff of VRS colonel general Novica Simic stated at the press conference in Banja Luka that on the occasion of the Day of VRS the president of Republic and the supreme commander of armed forces Biljana Plavsic will promote some army officers and deliver the decorations to civilian persons who are employed in VRS and Defence Ministry.

BELGRADE - The presiding of the Presidency of Serbian Democratic Party /SDS/ Aleksa Buha stated that at the next session of the National Assembly, scheduled for May 12 and 13 will not be voted nonconfidence to the Government of Milorad Dodik. In the interview to the weekly "NIN" Buha said that "the nonconfidence for current Government would not be voted even in case if the delegate clubs of SDS and Serbian Radical Party /SRS/ decide to do so". "From the drowsy and weak conscience of other delegates could be hardly expected the support for such acting" - explained Buha.

BRCKO - The demand of RS Government and the Commission for Arbitrage for disputable inter-entity demarcation line in the region of Brcko to respect until the end of May the orders of the supervisor on allocation of 141 work places on national basis, in the ratio 52 Serbs and 48 Moslems and Croats in this city was characterised as the social bomb. The mayor of Brcko Borko Reljic, officials of the multi-ethnical administration, people's delegates and representatives of all political parties in the city unanimously concluded that implementation of this order will bring more damage than benefits, because by employing 40 to 50 Moslems and Croats in administration, the same number of Serbs will be fired from job.

DOBOJ - The regional office of OSCE in Banja Luka communicated the new electoral rules to the municipal electoral commissions which are under its competence - stated at the press conference in Doboj the spokesman of this organisation Paul Hockinos. "One of the changes of the new rules for September's elections is that to the political parties, coalitions and independent delegates is forbidden to advertise in media by payment of these services" - stated Hockinos, while adding that such practice was set out in more than 100 states of the world, mainly in Europa.

VIENNA - The Chief of the OSCE Mission to Croatia Tim Guldimann sharply criticised the Croatian authorities, because they are not undertaking anything to accelerate the return of Serbian refugees - reports AFP. "In spite of numerous announcements non decisive action was undertaken" - stated Guldimann at the press conference, after presenting the facts bout the current situation about issue of return of expelled Serbs and returning their property to the Standing Council of OSCE. According to the data of UNHCR, 350,000 of Serbs from Croatia are currently in FR Yugoslavia /FRY/ and RS.

DOBOJ - After the expiring of mandate of SFOR, on June 20 the name of the peace forces will be changed into "Joint Forge", but its mission will not be significantly changed - stated in Doboj the commander of the NOrdic- Polish brigade of SFOR brigade general Kari Rimpi. At the press conference in the HQ of this brigade in the military barracks "North Pole" he said that in June will be rotated the military and command cadre in that unit, but significant changes will not happen in acting of future forces, except strengthening the military-civil cooperation on the local level. Rimpi stressed that the American forces will be reduced from 8,500 to 6,900 and that in the future will be stationed mainly in the Tuzla-Doboj region.

PRISTINA - The Yugoslavian border soldier clashed in the vicinity of the watch-tower Gorozup, near Prizren, with around twenty terrorists from Albania, who tried to carry great amount of weapons from Albania to FRY, after exchange of fire terrorists withdrew, and, according to information, between border guardians nobody was injured. SRNA learns in military circles that 20 boxes of round and many machine guns of the Chinese made was seized.

BELGRADE - The vice-president of the Serbian Government Vojislav Seselj announced at the press conference in Belgrade the stance of this party that FRY should establish the diplomatic relations with B&H, founded on equal treatment of RS and FB&H. "We are not ready for any relations with B&H in which would bring into question the equality of RS" - stressed Seselj. Commenting the situation in Kosovo, Seselj stressed that intensifying of terrorism indicates on increasing the pressure of the western powers on FRY. "The Army of FRY and members of MUP of Serbia have shown the ability to keep the border and regime" - said Seselj, stressing that SRS thinks that with terrorists there is no compromise.
