SARAJEVO - The president from Republika Srpska in the Presidency of B&H Momcilo Krajisnik congratulated to all Orthodox believers, clergy and monks in Republic the greatest Christian holiday Christ's Resurrection. "The Serbian people lead by Orthodoxy on the difficult path of its history, passing the same as today through numerous temptations and challenges, never lost hope in salvation and belief in God" - is stated in the congratulation.

BANJA LUKA - the High representative of the international community for B&H Carlos Westendorp stated in Banja Luka after the meeting with the premier of RS Milorad Dodik that international community gives full support to the government of Srpska and confirmed that all promised financial assistance will come into the budget of Srpska. "It is important that Government is working for people and is in the service for people, as it promised" - stressed Westendorp expressing the conviction that citizens of RS will soon have better future.

DOBOJ - The presiding of the Presidency of Serbian Democratic Party /SDS/ Aleksa Buha assessed not holding the Special session of RS National Assembly as unseen scandal and not respecting the elementary norms and obligations in behaviour of parliamentary parties. If we agreed few days ago to hold a session and if the president of Assembly have scheduled it, than elementary honour orders someone to come and say what in scheduling the session was bad and to come out with attitude towards two delegate clubs - SDS and SRS /Serbia Radical Party/, who demanded holding of the special session, said Mr. Buha.

DOBOJ - If in power remain the current electoral rules, SRS most probably will not participate at elections in September, stated at the press conference in Doboj the president of SRS of RS Nikola Poplasen. At the conference held after the president of National Assembly of Republika Srpska Dragan Kalinic stated that the special parliamentary session will not be held because of the lack of quorum, Poplasen presented the stance of radicals that it is nonsense to come out at elections with current electoral rules and announced that he will propose boycott to the organs of the Party and stepping out of the electoral process.

BANJA LUKA - Commenting the special session of National assembly of RS, which was not held because of lack of quorum, the High Representative of international community Carlos Westendorp said that it "was not the session of parliament of RS, but a party meeting, and political parties can meet wherever they wish".

SIPOVO - The UN High Representative for Refugees Sadako Ogata talked in Sipovo with the representatives of the municipal authorities, stressing that this place will get substantial financial aid. In talks was mentioned the issue of Serbian refugees from Federation B&H /FB&H/, local Serbian population and issue of Moslems from all regions.

SARAJEVO - the red cross of RS from this year will return this year to the traditional activities, paying mostly attention on youngsters, voluntary donations in blood and development of the organisation - stated the president of the organisation Ljiljana Zelen-Karadzic. the programme of work of our organisation is ambitious, but financial resources still cannot cover all that is planned" - said Mrs. Zelen-Karadzic after the second regular session of the Assembly of Red Cross of RS.

BANJA LUKA - The director of the Public Fund of Health Insurance of RS Dragutin Ilic warned in Banja Luka that the level of future health care services in municipalities of Banja Luka's subsidiary of the Fund will not be reached without payment of debts of beneficiaries of health services.

BANJA LUKA - Executive board of the Association of students of the University in Banja Luka denied the claims of the president of Young social- democrats Dalibor Racic in last night's programming of Serbian radio about the reasons why the delegation of students from Banja Luka did not attend the lecture of the French president Jacques Chirac in Sarajevo. The student prorector of the University in Banja Luka Drazen Brdjanin, in the statement for SRNA, conveyed the principled stance of the Association of students that as a sign of protest for frequent arresting citizens of RS they did not want to go to sarajevo, although French Embassy guaranteed security for them.

SRPSKO GORAZDE - On the main crossroads on the roads passing through Serbian Gorazde and neighbouring Cajnice are noticed the strengthened patrols of SFOR soldiers, and that is done without the usual announcement. In Ustipraca members of SFOR moved without announcement in the school building, on which they started the repairing, and investor is SFOR division "Salamandra".

TREBINJE - In Trebinje started with work the OSCE Office, with objective of more qualitative work of this organisation in the region of Eastern Hercegovina and providing the concrete assistance to local administrative organs. This stated in Trebinje, after the meeting with the leadership of this municipality in Hercegovina, the chief of OSCE mission for Hercegovina David Foley.

BANJA LUKA - The organisational board of the gathering "Stop with demonising Serbs" called upon the citizens of Banja Luka and all people of good will to come tomorrow at 15,00 h at the square of Krajina and attend the protest under the slogan " Let's condemn terrorism". According to the president of the Board Nenad Stevandic, the objective of the rally, organised by the "Falcon Organisation" and association of students of Banja Luka university, is timely to warn on the increasing wave of terrorism which is threatening to this region.

PRIJEDOR - In the organisation of the Association of refugees of B&H in Prijedor was held the meeting of associations of fled citizens from municipalities of the former North-western Bosnia, which topic was return in the places of origin, and representatives of RS and FB&H showed different interests in this matter. The representatives of these associations talked about return, as in the regions of RS, so also in the regions of Federation in phases.

BELGRADE - The spokesman of the UNHCR Office in Belgrade Mons Niberg stated that Sarajevo still did not get the status of opened city, because of what the return of refugees into their apartments will last longer. He stated that he supports the returning the occupancy right to their owners, and the authorities in Sarajevo would be obliged to free these apartments if Sarajevo is opened city.

VIENNA - The Vienna "Standard" concluded that the president of FRY Slobodan Milosevic do not want to let all power to the cadres in RS, putting the stress on the attempt of reconstruction of Government of RS. "Standard", however, concludes that judging to the behaviour of the Socialistic Party of RS, Milosevic is still not ready for more radical moves towards the government of premier Milorad dodik.

BANJA LUKA - The international fair of achievements in electro-engine industry DEMI '98 will be held in Banja Luka from April 21-25, announced the director of Banja Luka fair Dragoljub Bojanic. At the press conference he stated that until now the participation announced 60 exhibitors from RS, FRY, Austria and Slovenia.

BANJA LUKA - The mayor of Banja Luka Djordje Umicevic with assistants informed in BAnja Luka the UN High Commissioner for Refugees Sadako Ogata with the stances of the city authorities about return of refugees, as in this city so in RS. After the meeting with the high commissioner Umicevic assessed that "the political situation in RS is favourable, and that the difficult economic conditions unfavourably influence the return of refugees, concretely from Germany."

SIPOVO - The local EU Mission from Strasbourg offered to the municipal authorities in Sipovo the programme for economic development of the municipality, no matter is it in question the industrial activity or agricultural production. the programme of the Local Mission from Strasbourg, financed by EU COmmisssion, primarily will be based on private enterprises independently of how great they are.

PODGORICA - The expert team of USAID, which met in Podgorica with the members of Montenegro Government, supported the efforts of the leadership of Montenegro assessing that good results were reached in the field of reforms and privatisation, what makes this republic recognisable not only in the region but also wider.

PARIS - The minister of Foreign affairs of France Hubert Vedrine called after the talks with the Montenegro president Milo DJukanovic in Paris, the authorities in Belgrade to accept the international mediation in Kosovo crisis, assessing that announced referendum is "unnecessary move". "There is no international conspiracy against Serbia, but the true problem in Kosovo, where status quo cannot be tolerated", stressed Vedrine.
