While talking about return of refugees, he stressed that this issue - which Croatian and Bosniak parties are obstructing - should solve reciprocally, without neglecting possibility of exchange and just reimbursement, which is anticipated by Dayton Agreement.

KOZARSKA DUBICA - The president of SRS RS Nikola Poplasen, commenting last bloody events in Kosovo, assessed that "Republic of Serbia have and must remain unique in current borders, but also much closer and firmly linked with all Serbs who live on Balkan regions. Participating in yesterday's work of the session of Municipal Board of SRS Kozarska Dubica, the vice- president of National Assembly of RS talked to the present members of the party about actual political and economic events in RS and FR Yugoslavia /FRY/. "Serbian people is again in difficult situation, and in Kosovo happened the bloodshed. The international community, in this or that way, is threatening and Serbs are in situation when they must in much larger extent show unity and decisiveness to defend Serbian national interest" - said Poplasen in the statement for SRNA.

VIENNA - The former minister of Foreign affairs of Austria Aloise Mock proposed urgent meeting between Serbian president Slobodan Milosevic and leader of Albanians from Kosovo Ibrahim Rugova, as the step towards easing tensions in that region and called the reputable persons from the international policy to mediate in these talks. In the statement for the daily news of Austrian state TV proposed as the solution for the crisis in Kosovo the formula "autonomy plus", by which is anticipated return of autonomy to Kosovo which was repealed in 1990, strengthened by additional agreements and for Albanians to abandon the idea of secession and further bringing into question the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia. The newest situation in Kosovo Mock assessed as very serious and added that extremists Albanians are bringing into question the authority of Rugova.

AMSTERDAM - Kosovo is one of rear issues about which all Serbs have identical stance, so it will be very difficult to SLobodan Milosevic to give full autonomy to Albanians, as required by the Western diplomacy - is the comment of Dutch news "Folkstrant". "The president of FRY is again in scissors, because from one side he is exposed to the unmerciful American pressure, while on the other side is pressed by the newly arisen spirit of Serbian wakening from which he hardly escaped on the December's elections, past in dominance of Serbian Radicals" - writes Dutch news and concludes that the situation is additionally complicated by the fact that Albanians from Kosovo already long time are not ready for compromise.
