MAR. 03, 1998 DAY
NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA
BANJALUKA - The president of Serbian Party of Krajina and Posavina (SSKiP)
Predrag Lazarevic severely condemned intrusion of the Hague war crimes
tribunal's investigators and members of IPTF into the premises of
Banjaluka's City Assembly. Yesterday at a press-conference in Banjaluka he
assessed that "violent opening of drawers and breaking into the safe in
Banjaluka's mayor's Cabinet is a fatal mistake and violation of the
Dayton peace accord". "SSKiP will put up with no dictations" -
Lazarevic emphasised. He also warned that board members of this party
were ready to withdraw from the City Assembly if the international
community tries to impose any solution.
JAJCE - Yesterday in Carevo polje near Jajce have begun exhumation of the
tomb where around 80 Serbian fighters and civilians were buried during
fights near the Municipality of Jajce in Autumn of 1995. The exhumation
took place after a common agreement of exchange commissions of Republika
Srpska (RS) and Muslim-Croat federation, mediated by OHR (Office of High
Representative).
DOBOJ - SFOR Nordic-Polish brigade postponed planned maneuvers in Ozren
since it is too busy with other tasks, and will probably carry it out the
next week - was confirmed to SRNA from the Headquarters in Doboj.
