In the statement for TANJUG premier Dodik reminded that in the testimony before the Arbitrage Tribunal in Vienna he confirmed the determination of RS Government that "the only lasting stabilising solution is that Brcko in territorial and formally legal sense belong to RS". Dodik assessed that the positive solution of the Brcko issue could be expected at the basis "of changed political situation, by coming new RS Government, which is implementing Dayton Agreement".VIENNA - The representing agent of RS Government in the arbitrage process for Brcko Krstan Simic confirmed yesterday that the prime minister of RS Milorad DOdik in his statement before the Arbitrage tribunal in Vienna clearly stated "that Brcko should stay in the framework of Republika Srpska and that any other alternative is out of question". "Consistent to his attitude Dodik promised to international community that in Brcko will come democracy as well as the principles which are in practice in the West and, accordingly, this city would belong to citizens of Brcko, i.e. to the people who decide to live in Brcko, but all in the framework and under permanent jurisdiction of RS" - assessed Krstic in the statement for SRNA. BELGRADE - The premier of RS Milorad Dodik, the general director of the Concern of black metallurgy "Sartid" Dusko Matkovic and the directors of forge plants in RS and Federation B&H /FB&H/ agreed last night in Belgrade the intensifying cooperation of "Sartid" with forge plant Zenica and iron ore mine Ljubija, which are in the framework of PTK Prijedor. The president of RS Government , in the statement for Radio-TV Serbia /RTS/, positively assessed improvement of economic cooperation of enterprises in FR Yugoslavia /FRY/, RS and FB&H stressing that the "economic logics, in the overall relations, must be respected". The presidents of governments of RS, FRY and Serbia Milorad Dodik, Radoje Kontic and Mirko Marjanovic and directors of great mine-metallurgy combines yesterday were received by the president of FRY Slobodan Milosevic. BANJA LUKA - The Defence Minister in the government of RS colonel general Manojlo Milovanovic rejected the possibility of war clashes in the region of B&H during the mission of SFOR, stressing that in the next period this ministry will not require the additional resources for the defence of RS. "I am aware that there will not be the war until SFOR is here" - said Milovanovic in the special programming of SRT, explaining that it made him decide to require only minimal resources, necessary for survival of system of defence. BRUSSELS - His High Holiness metropolitan dabrobosanski MR. Nikolaj said last night that "correct reception of heads of religious communities of B&H in Brussels gives a hope that the international community will show understanding and provide support to the mission of realising peace and good will between people". Mr. Nikolaj said in the statement for SRNA that talks of church dignitaries of B&H with representatives of international community in Brussels is the "breakthrough into the world" and that it will contribute to the better understanding of the causes of the war conflicts which shaken B&H almost four years. BRUSSELS - The Council of NATO reached agreement in Brussels last night about the need of strong military presence of alliance in RS and FB&H until the general elections anticipated for September, but the final decision about modalities of staying will be delayed until Monday February 16 - reports AFP calling upon the diplomatic sources. The same source claims that the Ambassadors of sixteen NATO member countries reached an agreement that, if the situation in the field permits, consider the possibility of significant decreasing of the troops in the forces which will next June replace SFOR. The Council of NATO thinks that the future forces in the beginning should have 35,000 soldiers, and the military top of alliance presented four options of possible presence in B&H. AMSTERDAM - The strategic objective of international community this year in B&H will be organising of the return of Serbs into Sarajevo and Drvar with surroundings - is said in the plan of International forces for return and reconstruction in which the return of refugees in Drvar region is proclaimed as the top priority in next period. "If international community manage to return Serbs in Drvar, Grahovo and Glamoc from where they were expelled, by that will be freed the houses and apartment in RS for return of Moslems and Croats into Serbian entity" - explains this organisation the reason of such engagement for accommodation of Serbian refugees.
