SARAJEVO - Participants of the International Conference on Return of
Refugees in Sarajevo adopted in Sarajevo on February 3 a Declaration by
which was anticipated return of 20.000 pre-war inhabitants of Serbian,
Croatian and other nationalities to this city during this year. "Sarajevo
has to be a real multiethnic canton opened from inside toward outside, as
it was anticipated by Annex 7 of the Dayton Agreement", is said in the
first from 40 items of the Declaration in which tasks and terms of their
performing are fixed.
BONN - German Government informed the Premier of Republika Srpska (RS)
Milorad Dodik that it was "making efforts on intensifying and speeding up
of EU help to RS" - stated the spokesman of the Government in Bonn Peter
Hausman. On the first day of visit of the Premier Milorad Dodik to Germany
a Minister in German Government Bernet Schmittbauer welcomed "constructive
political stances of the new RS Government which has pledged to completely
respect the Dayton Agreement ".
HAGUE - Toma Fila, the defence attorney of the former mayor of Vukovar
Slavko Dokmanovic, who has been accused with alleged war crimes by the
Hague Tribunal, claims that this international Court is trying to present
war in Croatia as "a clash between two indepented countries, and not a
civil war".
AMSTERDAM - The international community wants to by a roundabout and slowly
way to impose a situation in B&H as it was in 1992 before the war - thinks
a Dutch analyst and politicial scientist Burt Tromb. He assessed that it
was completely clear that in that moment in B&H international protectorate
was in effect, which the West succeeded to impose just then, although just
after the war emerged there were plans for that.
