MOSCOW - The official representative of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of
Russia Genadiy Tarasov expressed in Moscow contentment because of "after
long pause because of sharp political conflict in leadership of RS finally
the constitutional organs and executive authorities are being formed". At
the press conference he stressed that for Russia the main criterion in
finding the ways for overcoming the constitutional-political crisis in RS
from the very beginning was the issue do they lead to the strengthening or
break-off of Republika Srpska.
SARAJEVO - The municipal court in Sarajevo sentenced the editor of the
magazine "Dani" /Days/ Senad Pecanin two moths of suspended sentence after
the accusation for vilifying, submitted against him by Fahrudin Radoncic,
editor of "Dnevni Avaz", close to the Party of Democratic Action. Pecanin
assessed such decision of the court as the continuation of campaign of
Moslem authorities against independent media, which represent "part of
atmosphere of pogrom" against journalists in Sarajevo, which started in
November last year Moslem leader Alija Izetbegovic.
