BANJA LUKA - The president of Republika Srpska /RS/ Biljana Plavsic talked
in Banja Luka strictly behind the closed door with U.S. Ambassador to
Sarajevo Richard Clausarich. Mrs. Plavsic and Ambassador Clausarich did not
give any statement for journalists after the talks, and SRNA could not get
any additional information neither in the Cabinet of president.
BANJA LUKA - The president of RS Biljana Plavsic talked in BAnja Luka with
American senators Carl Levin and Jack Reed about U.S. financial assistance
for RS and extending the stay of U.S. soldiers in SFOR in B&H. The senator
Reed supported the Dayton Agreement and stressed that "peace-making mission
could be implemented only along with the full support of people and
entities and presence and assistance of international community".
BRCKO - The international supervisor for the region of Brcko Robert Farrand
expressed his contentment with the beginning of work of multi-ethnical
police of RS in this city and promised that he will inform about that
"great achievement" the Arbitrage Tribunal. At the festivity in front of
the Police Station in Brcko, supervisor stressed that the order about
establishing the multi-ethnical composition of the police comprise not only
forming, but also its effective operating, which work he will supervise
together with representatives of IPTF.
SARAJEVO - The Centre of Public Security /CJB/ Sarajevo accused the
ministries of internal affairs of Federation B&H /MUP B&H/ and Sarajevo
Canton that they are presenting untrue and incorrect data about the
criminal acts and perpetrators, registered in FB&H. In the announcement
forwarded to SRNA is stressed that the federal and MUP of Sarajevo Canton
are trying, by presenting such untrue, to transfer responsibility for its
idleness and inefficiency on MUP of RS, CJB Sarajevo and IPTF.
