BANJA LUKA - The president of Republika Srpska /RS/ Biljana Plavsic talked in Banja Luka with the High Representative of the international community Carl Bildt about the Central Bank and establishing joint currency, problems of PTT traffic, and opening the airport Mahovljani near Banja Luka. "Besides the general economic situation, we talked about the issue of delivering of mail, because there is in Sarajevo around 7.000 mails for RS never delivered, and I hope that we have reached the agreement on it", said Mr. Bildt, assessing the talks with the president Plavsic and her assistants as "very useful". The vice-president Dragoljub Mirjanic attended today's meeting too.

BANJA LUKA - The president of RS Biljana Plavsic and the Charge d'Affairs of the US Embassy in Sarajevo Robert Bickroft talked in Banja Luka about the economic aspects of the Dayton Agreement and assistance for RS, and expressed the contentment with its previous implementation. The president Plavsic thanked to Mr. Bickroft and his assistants, who are helping our experts in conducting the privatisation, adding that the meeting infused a lot of optimism in implementation of Dayton Agreement.

ZVORNIK - The seven Moslems, indicted for killing 4 Serbs on May 2 last year in Krusev Do, were sentenced today by Grand Jury of the Municipal Court in Zvornik on, in all, 64 years of jail. While reading the verdict, the president of the Court Council Petar Stjepanovic said that "Nedzad Hasic, Ahmo Farbas and Behudin Avdic, because killing Djordje Petrovic, Nikola Modrakovic, Momcilo Ristanovic and Vlajko Zekic from Milici, are sentenced on 20 years prison penalty each". In the explanation, inter alia, is stated that "it is proved that three of them on May 2, 1996 in the early morning hours in Krusev DO from fire arms killed four Serbs from Milici which bodies were massacred, then burned and dug in the earth. "

ZVORNIK - Hansjerg Strochmeier, from the OHR for civilian affairs in B&H, stated in Zvornik that he is "dissatisfied and worried" by the decision of the Municipal Court, by which the Moslems from Srebrenica were proclaimed guilty for killing four Serbian civilians from Milici. Strochmeier said that the lawyers from the Federation B&H didn't attened the trial, and that "there was given too little evidence on the basis of which the indicted persons would be sentenced on 60 years of jail".

BRCKO - The procedure for returning in Brcko, disclosed by supervisor Bil Farrand, will protect the interests of Serbs who live in this city, and the return of citizens from the Federation B&H. " The establishing the process of returning is of the highest priority for Brcko, and expelled Serbs, who have decided to stay in this city, have no reason for any fear" - claims Farrand. The supervisor sent a message to the citizens of the Federation B&H, who have the intention to return to Brcko, "that this process must be gradual".

DOBOJ - The spokesman of the SFOR MND in Doboj major Arthur Bilski denied the reports of Moslem media that one Serbian civilian injured the member of this brigade. At the press conference he assessed that Moslems made up the whole event, quoting the writing of the Moslem daily "Dnevni avaz", in which is mentioned the name of non-existing Serb who allegedly injured the member of SFOR.

BANJA LUKA - The president of RS Biljana Plavsic, on the occasion of the great Orthodox holiday the Easter - the Christ Resurrection, sent the congratulation to the believers of the Orthodox faith. "The great Christ's sacrifice has the higher sense in the victory of life over death, the victory of good over evil. As the God's people we, the Serbs are bearing our Cross.

BIJELJINA - The General Staff of the RS Army /VRS/ headed by general major Pero Colic sent the congratulation letter to the clergy and believers of the Serbian Orthodox Church, on the occasion of the Easter festivities. "With the faith in God, our centuries old traditions, fraternal love, harmony and mutual respect we shall build the youngest Serbian state and enable the prosperity and freedom for Serbian people, for what the members of VRS are the guarantor", it is said in the congratulation letter of the General Staff of VRS.

SARAJEVO - The president of the National Assembly of RS Dragan Kalinic sent a congratulation letter to His High Holiness the Serbian Patriarch Mr. Pavle on the ocassion of Easter, the most festive Serbian holiday. "The Orthodox Church was always the reliable support for Serbian people in the greatest temptations, in moral, spiritual and material regard.

SARAJEVO - The Ministry of Religion of RS congratulated to all Serbian believers the Easter festivities. "Happy and bless Easter we wish to arch- priests, monks, nuns, and priests of the Serbian Orthodox Church. We also congratulate the Easter to all members of humanitarian organisations and SFOR units who celebrate the Easter by old calendar", - it is said in the congratulation letter signed by the minister of Religion Dragan Davidovic.

TILBURG - Dusan Tadic, the Serb charged by the Hague tribunal for alleged war crimes, and who was injured by one Dutch prison guardian in the jail in Sweningen on April 20, feels well, but still has pains in head. The guardian on purpose pushed the metal door which hit Mr. Tadic, and after that he started to beat him until two other guardians separated them.
