The original budget incomes amount to 1,157,001,934,00 dinars, while the deficit of about 330,000,00 dinars, which is to be provided by the Government through the international institutions loans, is also planned. The president of the RS Parliament, Dragan Kalinic, informed the deputies that being authorised by RS president Biljana Plavsic, RS vice-president Dragoljub Mirjanic, signed a Decree on the proclaiming of a Law on the ratification of the Agreement on Special Parallel Relations between RS and FR Yugoslavia. The RS National Assembly also adopted a Law on the RS Senate defining the organisation and way of the work of this body, as well as senator's rights and duties.SARAJEVO - The president of the RS National Assembly, Dragan Kalinic, assessed the 6th session of the Serbian Parliament, which took place on Mt. Jahorina yesterday, as another proof for the development of democracy and competence of the RS National Assembly. 'With a great dose of criticism and reality as well, the RS Budget for 1997 was accepted', stated Kalinic in a statement given SRNA, reminding us that a general agreement was reached on the improvement and application of all the mechanisms for the control and collection of the tax duties so that the planned budget income would be realised. SARAJEVO - The president of the RS Parliament, Dragan Kalinic, received in Pale in a farewell visit the political advisor to the high international representative to RS and the Federation of B&H, Alexander Stryganov, who is completing his mission. An announcement issued from the president Kalinic's Cabinet points out that they also talked about numerous current political issues in regard to the work of the joint institutions of B&H and the RS Parliament and, especially, about its 6th session that was just concluded. SARAJEVO - The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of RS will intensify its work in order to stabilise the situation in the area of Brcko, the minister Dragan Kijac stated last night, after the talks with the RS state leadership, which on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the forming of the Serb police were held in Pale. 'The RS political top presented the entire politicalsecurity situation in RS to the MUP delegation and gave them certain political guidance and instructions for the future work', pointed Kijac after the meeting. SARAJEVO - Upon the arrival of the US supervisor for the Brcko area, Robert Farrand, and of about 200 of IPTF personnel, the RS minister of internal affairs, Dragan Kijac, warned at an attempt at imposing the system of the work, which is not in accordance with the MUP organisation, to RS. 'It is required for the certain organisational units of ours in the Brcko area to move out from the city so that IPTF would take the full police control over the area of Brcko', said Kijac in a statement for the Belgrade 'Vecernje novosti'. He warned that the talks on the disposal of police forces in Brcko will be continued, for 'the RS MUP is not going to accept certain conditions that are being stated to it'. SARAJEVO - A delegation of the Lusatians visited Pale, with the aim to get acquaint with the living conditions of the Serbian people in RS and the ways for the establishment of stronger political, cultural and economic relations with their compatriots from the Serbians soils. 'We visited Serb Sarajevo and Serb Gorazde, the University of Novi Sad and Budva', stated the head of the delegation, Ksheschan Kravc in a statement for SRNA. About 60,000 of Lusatians are presently living in the two regions of the Upper Lusatia and German province of Brandenburg, near Berlin, and Lower Lusatia. VUKOVAR - The citizens of the Serb Eastern Slavonia, Baranja and Western Srem District are expected to vote at tomorrow's referendum for the intactness of the District. According to the assessment, about 90 % of the Serb population of the District will come out on the issue at more than 100 voting stations which are to be opened from 07:00 to 19:00 hrs. SKOPLJE - The multinational forces of about 5,000 soldiers, under the command of the Italian general, Luciano Forlani, will be disposed in Albania from April 14. Italy is expected to send some 2,500 soldiers, France 1,000, Greece 800 and Austria 120 soldiers.
