SARAJEVO - Two Muslim men, for whose homicide Sretko Damjanovic was sentenced to death by court in Muslim part of Sarajevo in 1993, are alive, announced Damjanovic's attorney Branko Maric. "The purported victims - brothers Asim and Kasim Belkic, live in Sarajevo", says Maric, who stated that he would ask for renewal of the process. Damjanovic was sentenced by Muslim court in Sarajevo in 1993, because of alleged murder of Belkic and "three other Muslims". VUKOVAR - The US Ambassador to Croatia, Peter Galbright, stated in Vukovar that Croatia, "would be excluded from the EU membership, unless it meets its obligations, stipulating from the membership". He added that "after UNTAES leaves, the international community would closely monitor the situation in the Srem- Baranja District. VUKOVAR - The newest list of 161 residents of Eastern Slavonia, Baranja and Western Srem who were not amnestied, presented yesterday by Croatian government, and published by "Vecernje Novosti", was the fabrication, intended for additional pressures and intimidation of the Serbs in he District, stated one of "listed" residents of Vukovar, who pointed out that the Croats "sent such allegedly official lists every day to Vukovar, Ilok, Beli Manastir and other centres, but not address them to the UN administrator, Jack Clain and UNTAES offices". ZAGREB - The foreign minister of the Federation of B-H, Jadranko Prlic, stated that Croatian side is not satisfied with IPTF report in which the Croats are accused of recent incidents in Mostar, and that he would ask revision of the report. "This is not the first time that the international community is blaming only one side without arguments", concluded Prlic.
