SARAJEVO - The members of the Republika Srpska (RS) National Assembly
generally adopted the Proposal of the Draft Programme for the RS National
Assembly for this year, while Houses of Representatives will submit their
recommendation about priority tasks.
SARAJEVO - The RS minister of health, Mirko Sosic, stated that RS was not
ready to fully finance the health care in RS for the objective reasons -
war aftermath. During his talks with the European Commission "ECHO"
representative, Folko de Vris, Sosic referred to aid to RS in medicines and
recommendations concerning the health care reform. "This meeting was a test
of RS preparedness for aid reduction", stated Sosic.
BANJALUKA - While commenting a communique from the RS Presidential Cabinet,
the president of the Socialist Party, Zivko Radisic, said that this party
"make efforts to reinforce law and order in all institutions".
VIENNA - The biggest challenge for the Dayton B-H rests in the local
elections and the up-coming decision of the "status of Brcko", stated the
high represetnative of the international community for the Dayton B-H, Carl
Bildt. According to him, in order to stabilise peace in the Dayton B-H, it
is very important that all parties signatories of the peace agreement
accept the decision on the status of Brcko, which should be brought by
the international arbitration on February 15, 1997".
